Mike Thaler

Mike Thaler (1936–2024) was an American author and illustrator of children's books, best known as 'America's Riddle King' for his over 220 riddle books and popular series like The Black Lagoon Adventures. He began his career drawing cartoons for adults before transitioning to children's literature with his first book, The Magic Boy, in 1961, and resided in West Linn, Oregon, with his wife Patty.[1][2][3]
