Mike Grell

Mike Grell is an American comic book writer and artist, born on September 13, 1947, renowned for his work on titles such as Green Lantern/Green Arrow, The Warlord, and Jon Sable Freelance.[1][2] He began his career assisting on the Brenda Starr comic strip in 1972, soon joining DC Comics where he worked on Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes, Aquaman, Batman, and co-revived Green Lantern/Green Arrow with Denny O'Neil.[2] Grell created enduring characters like The Warlord and Jon Sable, and his miniseries The Longbow Hunters is considered the definitive Oliver Queen story.[2][6]
