Mihai Suba

Mihai Șubă (1947–2025) was a Romanian-born chess Grandmaster who later represented Spain, earning the International Master title in 1975 and the Grandmaster title in 1978. He was also an esteemed author of chess strategy books, including the acclaimed *Dynamic Chess Strategy* (1991) and the monograph *The Hedgehog* (2000).
