Mick Manning
Mick Manning (born 1959) is a British artist, illustrator, and creator of children's books, best known for his collaborations with his wife Brita Granström on non-fiction picture books since 1993, including award-winners like The World Is Full Of Babies. He grew up in Haworth, Yorkshire, studied at the University of Northumbria, Bradford College, and the Royal College of Art (1984-87), and served as Illustration Course Leader at Glasgow School of Art from 1990-98. Manning now divides his time between the Scottish Borders and Sweden, focusing on exhibition work, painting, and books informed by nature and personal experiences.
