Michael W. Doyle

Michael W. Doyle is an American international relations scholar and University Professor at Columbia University, best known as a theorist of the liberal 'democratic peace' and author of *Liberalism and World Politics* [1]. He has also written extensively on the comparative history of empires and UN peacekeeping, and co-directs the Center on Global Governance at Columbia Law School [1]. He holds a Ph.D. from Harvard University and has received career awards from the American Political Science Association for both scholarship and public service [3].
