Michael Turner
Michael Turner is an award-winning Canadian writer of fiction, poetry, criticism, and song, based in Vancouver. His debut book Company Town was nominated for the 1992 Dorothy Livesay Poetry Prize, while his second, Hard Core Logo, was adapted into an acclaimed feature film earning him a Genie Award for the soundtrack. Other notable works include The Pornographer’s Poem, American Whiskey Bar, and 8x10, with his writing appearing in journals like Art Papers and Modern Painters.
