Michael Tomasello
Michael Tomasello (born January 18, 1950) is an American developmental and comparative psychologist and linguist known for his influential research on social cognition, cooperation, communication, and cultural learning in both children and great apes. He is a professor at Duke University and has held major research roles at Emory University, the Yerkes Primate Center, and the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology.
