Michael T Flynn
Michael T. Flynn is a retired United States Army lieutenant general who served 33 years in military intelligence, rising to Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency from 2012 to 2014 before being forced out.[1][2][3] He briefly served as National Security Advisor under President Donald Trump in 2017 but resigned amid controversy over his interactions with the Russian ambassador and later pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI.[1][2][7] Flynn is also an author of several books on security and strategy, holding multiple master's degrees.[6]
