Michael Stubbs
Michael Stubbs is a Professor of English Linguistics at the University of Trier, Germany, where he has held the position since 1990[2]. He studied modern languages and linguistics at Cambridge University (BA 1970) and earned a PhD from Edinburgh University in 1975[1]. He has published numerous books and articles on language, education, and corpus linguistics, and has held academic positions at universities including Nottingham and the University of London[1].
