Michael Stein

Michael D. Stein (born January 15, 1960) is an American physician, health policy researcher, professor, and author known for his work in behavioral medicine, addiction, HIV/AIDS, and public health. He serves as Chair and Professor of Health Law, Policy & Management at Boston University School of Public Health, with over 450 scientific publications and numerous books including novels and non-fiction on health topics. His recent works include 'Me vs. Us: A Health Divided' (2022) and 'A Living: Working Class Americans Talk to Their Doctor' (2025).[1][3][4]
