Michael Slack (Author, Illustrator)

Michael Slack, born in 1969, is an American author, illustrator, and character designer known for his colorful, surreal paintings of quirky monsters and humorous children's books. He earned a B.F.A. in painting from the San Francisco Art Institute in 1992, worked as a computer game animator, and has created works like the card game ICK and picture books such as Monkey Truckin' and Tate Tuber: Space Spud.[1][2][3]
