Michael Purser

Michael Purser (1937–2025) was an Irish mathematician and academic who founded Baltimore Technologies, a Dublin-based data security company, and contributed unpublished work to the Cayley–Purser algorithm developed by Sarah Flannery.[1][2][5] He taught at Trinity College Dublin for four decades, leaving a lasting impact on students and colleagues, and held advanced degrees including a doctorate in educational leadership.[2][3][5] Purser was a supporter of the FNCI with his wife Helen and worked internationally across four continents.[3][4]
