Michael Oballa

Michael Oballa is an Ethiopian-American technology project leader and former refugee who won a city council election in Austin, Minnesota, after rising from a refugee camp to public office. He currently works at NOVA Chemicals Corporation in Alberta, Canada, and is known for his advocacy in immigrant rights and community leadership.
