Michael Monahan

Michael J. Monahan is a professor of philosophy at the University of Memphis, specializing in social and political philosophy, philosophy of race and racism, Africana philosophy, and phenomenology.[1][2][4] He earned his B.A. from Purdue University in 1995 and his M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1998 and 2003, respectively, and has previously taught at Marquette University and the University of Nevada Las Vegas.[1] Monahan has edited volumes such as Creolizing Hegel and is recognized for his contributions to creolizing political theory.[1][4]
