Michael Meyer
Michael Leverson Meyer (1921–2000) was an English translator, biographer, dramatist, and author, best known for his acclaimed translations of Henrik Ibsen and August Strindberg. He also wrote standard biographies of Ibsen and Strindberg and was widely regarded as the definitive English translator of both playwrights.
