Michael Jayston

Michael Jayston was the professional name of Michael James, an English actor born in Nottingham who trained at Guildhall School of Music and Drama and built a long career across theatre, film, television, and audio. He is especially remembered for roles such as Tsar Nicholas II in *Nicholas and Alexandra* and the Valeyard in *Doctor Who*.[2][8][10]
