Michael J. Moran
Michael J. Moran is an American politician and state legislator serving as House Majority Leader in the Massachusetts House of Representatives, representing the 18th Suffolk District since his election in a special election in April 2005. A Democrat and Brighton resident, he previously served as Assistant Majority Leader and has advocated for immigrant communities, health care access, domestic workers' rights, and fair political representation. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts Boston with a degree in economics and resides with his wife and daughters.
