Michael I. Page

Michael Fitzgerald Page AM (1922–2014) was a British-born Australian writer, editor, advertising executive, World War II veteran, and merchant sailor. He contributed significantly to Australian literature through his writing and support for emerging authors, earning him the Member of the Order of Australia in 1999 for services to the book publishing industry. Notable works include the 'Encyclopedia of Things That Never Were' (1986), illustrated by Robert Ingpen.
