Michael Halvorson

Michael James Halvorson is an American technology writer and historian, and a professor of history and innovation studies at Pacific Lutheran University. He worked at Microsoft from 1985 to 1993, contributing to the growth of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Visual Basic, and has authored numerous books on computer programming, software, and the history of innovation and technology.
