Michael G. Rumsey

Michael G. Rumsey, Ph.D., is Chief of the Personnel Assessment Research Unit at the U. S. Army Research Institute for the Behavioral and Social Sciences (ARI). He earned a bachelor's degree in science from Loyola College in 1945, served in the United States Navy as a demobilization counselor, and obtained his master's degree in psychology from the University of Maryland in 1949. His research focuses on organizational psychology, including leader-subordinate relationships, attitudinal factors in productivity, and prediction of human performance.
