Michael Frederick Green

Michael Frederick Green was a British journalist, humorist, author, and actor, born in Leicester, England, in 1927. He is best known for his long-running "Art of Coarse" series, including "The Art of Coarse Rugby" and "The Art of Coarse Acting," which became widely popular humorous books. He also wrote autobiographical works and created the character Squire Haggard for later TV adaptation.
