Michael Edwards

Sir Michael Edwards, OBE (born 29 April 1938) is an Anglo-French poet and academic, educated at Kingston Grammar School and Christ's College, Cambridge, where he studied French and Spanish. He was elected to the Académie Française on 21 February 2013, becoming the first English person to receive this honour. Edwards is the author of works including 'On the Perpetual Strangeness of the Bible' and poetry collections such as 'Another Art of Poetry' and 'Doorstones'.
