Michael Cooper

Michael J. Cooper is a retired pediatric cardiologist and award-winning author of historical fiction, known for his novels set in Jerusalem and the Holy Land, including 'Foxes in the Vineyard' and 'Wages of Empire.' Born in Berkeley, California, he immigrated to Israel in 1966, later studied at Hebrew University and Tel Aviv University Medical School, and now volunteers as a pediatric cardiologist for Palestinian children while continuing to write fiction.
