Michael Collins
Michael Collins is an Irish novelist born in Limerick, best known for his novel The Keepers of Truth, which was shortlisted for the 2000 Booker Prize. He is also an international ultra-distance runner with achievements including the North Pole Marathon and a bronze medal at the 2010 World 100k Championships, and has worked as a screenwriter, software developer, and university professor. His works have been translated into twenty languages and earned awards like the Kerry Ingredients Irish Novel of the Year and Pushcart Prize for short fiction.[2][3][5]
