Michael Bowles

Michael Andrew Bowles (1909–1998) was an Irish conductor, composer, and musicologist who founded the Radio Éireann Symphony Orchestra, later known as the National Symphony Orchestra. He was active in Ireland, New Zealand, the United States, and England throughout his career.
