Michael Balint

Michael Balint (1896–1970) was a Hungarian psychoanalyst who spent most of his adult life in England and became a leading proponent of the object relations school. He was the most significant student of Sándor Ferenczi and is particularly known for theorizing the Balint groups, a method of continuing medical education later extended to other health and education professionals.
