Michael Allaby

Michael Allaby (1933-2025) was a British author, editor, and actor who wrote more than 40 books primarily on science, natural history, and environmental topics.[5] His early career included work as a police cadet, actor, Royal Air Force pilot, and environmental magazine editor before becoming a freelance writer.[2] He is known for co-authoring The Greening of Mars with James Lovelock, a fictionalized nonfiction study about Mars settlement.[3]
