Michael Albert

Michael Albert is an American activist, writer, speaker, and economist who was radicalized in the mid-1960s and has been involved in revolutionary politics for over five decades. He co-founded South End Press, Z Magazine, ZNet, the Z Media Institute, and the International Organization for a Participatory Society, and co-developed participatory economics (parecon) with Robin Hahnel. Author of over 20 books including Parecon: Life After Capitalism (2003) and No Bosses: A New Economy for a Better World, he hosts the podcast Revolution Z and contributes to Z Communications.
