M.F.K. Fisher was the pen name of Mary Frances Kennedy Fisher Parrish Friede (1908–1992), an American writer widely regarded as one of the great food writers of the twentieth century. Her work blended food, memoir, and travel, and she helped shape modern food writing through books, essays, and magazine contributions.
