Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi
Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi (1207–1273) was a Persian poet, Islamic scholar, theologian, jurist, and Sufi mystic best known for his spiritual poetry and teachings on love and unity. He spent much of his life in Anatolia, where he taught in Konya and later founded the Mevlevi Order, also known as the Whirling Dervishes.
