Merle Good

Merle Good is an American author, playwright, and publisher from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, best known for the 1971 novel "Happy as the Grass Was Green," which was adapted into the film "Hazel's People." He also founded publishing ventures including Good Enterprises and Walnut Street Books, and has written novels, children’s books, non-fiction, and plays.[1][4][5]
