MercyMe

MercyMe is a contemporary Christian music band formed in 1994 in Edmond, Oklahoma, featuring lead vocalist Bart Millard, percussionist Robby Shaffer, bassist Nathan Cochran, and guitarists Michael Scheuchzer and Barry Graul. They gained massive success with their 2001 major-label debut 'Almost There,' propelled by the record-breaking single 'I Can Only Imagine,' which became the best-selling Christian single in history. The band has released 12 studio albums, including 'Wonder & Awe' in 2025, sold over 9 million units, and earned numerous awards like Grammy nominations and Dove Awards.
