Melvin Berger
Melvin H. Berger (1927-) is a prolific American author specializing in juvenile nonfiction, having written over 200 books for children and young adults on topics including popular science, music, astronomy, and true crime, often collaborating with his wife Gilda Berger. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he studied at the Eastman School of Music (B.M.), Columbia University (M.A.), and the University of London, worked as a music lecturer and teacher, and is also a professional violist.[1][2]
