Melissa Cookston is an American pitmaster, restaurateur, entrepreneur, and author known for her success in barbecue competition. She is a seven-time world barbecue champion and has written cookbooks including "Smokin' in the Boys' Room" and "Smokin' Hot in the South".[1][5][6]
