Melanie Joy Bacon is an author, illustrator, and creator who conceived the characters, worlds, and ideas for the Gimmwitts series over many years and illustrated all its visuals.[4] She has co-authored books such as Gimmwitts with Paul Jeffrey Davids, published in 2021.[1] Additionally, she developed The Gimmwitts Matching Game app.[6]
