Mel Rosen

Mel Rosen (1928–2018) was an American track and field coach best known for leading the United States team at the 1992 Barcelona Summer Olympics; he was also the subject of a biography titled 'From Brooklyn to the Olympics' rather than being an author himself. Born in The Bronx, New York, Rosen became a Hall of Fame coach at Auburn University and is celebrated for his contributions to Olympic track and field.
