Mel Gilden

Mel Gilden is a US author of speculative fiction born in Chicago on July 3, 1947[1][2]. He began his publishing career with a story in the Clarion anthology in 1971[3] and is predominantly known for his Fifth Grade Monsters series and young adult science fiction novels[4]. He has written over forty books for adults and children, along with over a hundred original television scripts[5].
