Meg Wolitzer

Meg Wolitzer is a New York Times bestselling American novelist known for works such as The Wife, The Interestings, The Ten-Year Nap, The Uncoupling, and The Female Persuasion. Born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1959 to novelist Hilma Wolitzer and psychologist Morton Wolitzer, she published her debut novel Sleepwalking in 1982 while a senior at Brown University. Several of her novels, including The Wife and This Is My Life, have been adapted for film and television.
