Max Rouquette
Max Rouquette was a French Occitan writer, poet, playwright, translator, and physician born in Argelliers in 1908. He became a major figure in Occitan literature, publishing poetry, prose, novels, and theater works, and he died in Montpellier in 2005 at the age of 96.
