Max Lucado
Max Lucado is an American author, pastor, and speaker known for his influential Christian writings, having published nearly 100 books with over 150 million copies sold worldwide.[2][3] Born in San Angelo, Texas, he began his writing career as a missionary in Brazil, where his first book, On the Anvil, was published in 1985 after 14 rejections.[1] He serves as Minister of Preaching at Oak Hills Church in San Antonio, Texas, and has won multiple Christian Book of the Year awards.[2][4]
