Max Davidson
Max Davidson (1875–1950) was a German-American film actor renowned for his comedic portrayals of Jewish characters during the silent film era. Born in Berlin to Jewish parents, he emigrated to the United States in the 1890s, starting in stock theater and vaudeville before entering silent movies in 1912 and appearing in over 180 films across a thirty-year career. His final screen role was in the 1945 film Adventure, and he died in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles.[1]
