Mavis Nicholson

Mavis Nicholson (1930-2022) was a Welsh writer and radio and television broadcaster who became one of the most acclaimed interviewers in British television history. Beginning her broadcasting career at age 40 in 1971, she interviewed numerous celebrities including Elizabeth Taylor, David Bowie, Peter Cook, and Maya Angelou over a 25-year career spanning daytime and chat show television.
