Maurice G Kendall
Maurice George Kendall (1907-1983) was a prominent British statistician renowned for his contributions to rank correlation, k-statistics, time series analysis, and random number generation. He authored key works including 'The Advanced Theory of Statistics' (1943-1946), 'Rank Correlation' (1948), and 'A Course in Multivariate Analysis,' and served as president of the Royal Statistical Society in 1961-1962. Later, he became managing director of a consulting firm and contributed to the history of probability and statistics.
