Maurice Burton
Maurice Burton (1898–1992) was a British zoologist and popular science author who produced numerous natural history encyclopedias and books. He is notable for his skeptical treatment of the Loch Ness Monster, publishing 'The Elusive Monster' in 1961, which concluded that such creatures were unlikely to exist in Loch Ness based on scientific evidence.
