Matthias Rauterberg
Prof. Dr. G.W. Matthias Rauterberg is a prominent researcher in human-computer interaction and usability engineering, holding degrees including a B.S. in Psychology (1978) from the University of Marburg, B.A. in Philosophy (1981), B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science, and M.S. in Psychology from the University of Hamburg, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science/Mathematics (1995) from the University of Zurich.[1][2][3] He served as full professor of 'Human Communication Technology' at Eindhoven University of Technology from 1998 to 2021, previously led the Man-Machine Interaction group at ETH Zurich, and has received awards such as the German GI-HCI Award (1997), Swiss Technology Award (1998), IFIP Silver Core Award (2007), and IFIP Fellowship (2020).[3][7]
