Matt Richardson
Matthew Richardson is a British thriller author who studied English at Durham University, graduating with a First in 2011, and pursued postgraduate research at Merton College, Oxford. He worked as a freelance journalist and speechwriter in Westminster before being signed by Penguin in 2015 for a six-figure deal for three espionage novels, with his acclaimed debut My Name Is Nobody published in 2017, followed by Insider in 2021 and The Scarlet Papers in 2023, the latter named Thriller of the Year by The Times. He has also sold TV series concepts and a standalone thriller Anna O in over thirty territories.
