Matt Doeden
Matt Doeden was born in southern Minnesota and spent parts of his childhood in Golden Valley and Madison, Minnesota. He earned a BA in journalism from Mankato State University and worked as a sports writer for the Mankato newspaper before becoming an author. He is known for writing children's and young adult books on history and sports, including titles like The Negro Leagues, The Civil War, and The Oregon Trail.
