Masaru Emoto

Masaru Emoto (1943–2014) was a Japanese businessman, author, and pseudoscientist known for claiming that human consciousness affects water's molecular structure, forming beautiful crystals from positive thoughts and distorted ones from negative influences. He founded the IHM Corporation in 1986, earned a Doctor of Alternative Medicine certification in 1992, and authored bestsellers like The Hidden Messages in Water. His work, including photographs of ice crystals and experiments like the rice in water test, gained worldwide attention despite criticism as pseudoscience.
