Mary Whitby

Mary Whitby is a late-antique philologist at the University of Oxford who teaches Greek language at Merton College. She specializes in late-antique Greek literature from the 4th–7th centuries and has served as General Editor of the Translated Texts for Historians series at Liverpool University Press since 1993.
