Mary Serfozo

Mary Serfozo (1925-) is an American freelance author and copywriter specializing in children's fiction, inspired to write her first book Who Said Red? after observing children at a library.[1][2] She previously worked as an assistant editor at Mademoiselle magazine, copywriter for a California advertising agency, and in publicity for Elizabeth Arden, Pan American Airways, and the Hawaiian sugar industry.[1] A University of Washington graduate, she resided in Paso Robles, CA, and authored picture books like Plumply, Dumply Pumpkin and What's What? A Guessing Game.[1][3]
